Ghostly Fun & Spooky History at the Burlington County Prison Museum!

Halloween gets a little more haunting in Mount Holly!

One of New Jersey’s most historic—and reportedly haunted—landmarks is getting into the Halloween spirit! The Historic Burlington County Prison Museum, located at 128 High Street in Mount Holly, is bringing spooky history to life with The Haunting on High Street.

Built in 1811 and operated as a prison until 1965, this historic landmark has plenty of ghost stories to tell! Featured on paranormal investigations, including SyFy's Ghost Hunters, the former prison offers a one-of-a-kind setting for Halloween fun.

The Haunting on High Street | October 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 & 31 | 7–10 PM

Visitors can experience haunted prison walkthroughs featuring costumed actors, eerie special effects and ghostly surprises. Afterward, keep the fun going in the prison yard with music, games, ghost stories, food vendors and more!
