HOT OFF THE PRESS - EARLY VOTING
MOUNT HOLLY – Early voting for this year’s General Election kicks off on Saturday, October 24, and Burlington County voters have an additional location where they can securely cast their ballots in-person with a machine.
A total of 10 early voting locations will be open in Burlington County during the 9-day early voting period from October 24 through November 1.
The additional early voting location is at the Hainesport Municipal Building (1401 Marne Highway). It was added earlier this year before the June Primary Election. This fall marks the first time the location is available for early voting before a General Election.
In addition to the additional early voting location in Hainesport, voters should be aware that the early voting location in Mount Laurel on the campus of Rowan College at Burlington County is now in Votta Hall (300 College Circle, Mount Laurel) In prior years, early voting on the campus was held in the Student Success Center next door.
“Voting is one of our most fundamental rights, and we are pleased that Burlington County voters will have an additional polling location to use during the early voting period,” said Burlington County Board of Elections Chair Heather Cheesman. “The addition of a 10th early voting location will make it even easier for voters to use the early voting period when they have multiple days to go to the polls when it’s most convenient for them and their schedules. Last year, more than 51,000 voters took advantage of the option, and we’re expecting even more voters will go to the polls early this year.”
During the early voting period, voters from any of Burlington County’s 40 municipalities can go to any of the 10 early voting locations to cast their ballot with a machine. This is different from Election Day on November 3 when voters must go to their assigned poling spot in their town of residence.
All 10 early voting locations will be open daily during the early voting period. The poll hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on October 24; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 25; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 26 through Saturday, October 31; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 1 (final day of early voting).
All 10 early voting locations are as follows:
- Burlington Township at the Faith Deliverance Worship Center, 1304 Route 130 North, Burlington Township;
- Chesterfield at the Chesterfield Municipal Building, 295 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road, Chesterfield;
- Cinnaminson at the Cinnaminson Community Center, 902 Manor Road, Cinnaminson;
